TNPSC Research Assistant Result has been declared for the oral test which was conducted on 23rd August 2024. The successful candidates have been admitted provisionally to Physical Certificate Verification-cum Oral Test (Phase-III) in the ratio of 1:3. The CV will be held on 06.12.2024 at the office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. A total of 14 Vacancies for the post of research assistant in the Institute of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Ranipet were announced.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the Research Assistant Result for the Oral Test conducted on 23rd August 2024. Candidates who qualified have been provisionally shortlisted for the Physical Certificate Verification-cum-Oral Test (Phase-III) in a 1:3 ratio. TNPSC Research Assistant Application Fee
It is mandatory for applicants to register their basic data through a - online time recording system on the payment of Rs 150/ - (One hundred and fifty rupees only) enrollment fee and then they have to apply online for this recruitment. The unique registration shall be valid for five years from the date of registration. Thereafter, registration would have to be renewed with the payment of the prescribed fee.

TNPSC Research Assistant Selection Process
The selection of the TNPSC for the post of Research Assistant will be done on the basis of two successive stages that are
- Written Examination
- Oral Test
The final selection will be based on the total number of points received by the applicants during the written and verbal examination taken together subject to the rule of booking appointments.
Candidates must present themselves for the written exam and the oral exam. The candidate who did not take the written exam will not be taken into consideration for the selection even though he/she obtains the minimum qualification scores for the selection.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Academic qualification for the positions of research assistant in Institute of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, Ranipet TNPSC is
1) M.V.Sc., (Micro-biology/ Pathology/ Parasitology / Dairy Micro-biology / Animal Biotechnology); and
2) Must have passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent examination with Tamil as one of the languages and
3) Registered as Veterinary Practitioner with the Tamil Nadu State Veterinary Council constituted under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act 52 of 1984)

Age Concession
1) For Persons with Benchmark Disability:
Persons with a reference disability are eligible for the grant up to 10 years beyond the maximum age specified above.

(b) The above-mentioned age allowance shall not apply to candidates who have already been recruited into any class, service, or category/
