DSSSB Special Educator Selection Process 2025

Candidates are selected for the post of DSSSB Special Educator in two rounds which include a written examination of 200 marks and document verification.

• Written Examination: The DSSSB Special Educator written examination is phase-1 of the DSSSB Special Educator selection criteria. The written examination comprises 200 questions carrying 1 mark each from the arenas of General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical & Numerical Ability, Hindi language and comprehension, and English Language & Comprehension.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from tier-1 will be called for a round of document verification. Candidates need to carry all their original documents along with the photocopies. Any candidate failing to produce asked documents within the specified time will not be considered for the final recruitment.

DSSSB Special Educator Eligibility Criteria 2025

For any competitive examination in India candidates are required to fulfill all the eligibility criteria. The same is the case for the DSSSB Special Educator examination as well. The candidates are suggested to check the criteria before applying for this position.

DSSSB Special Educator Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

However, the authorities provide age relaxation for the candidates belonging to certain categories which aspirants can cross check.

DSSSB Special Educator Educational Qualification

The educational qualification of candidates for DSSSB Special Educator has been stated below.

1. Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. with a two years diploma in special education or post-graduate professional diploma in special education.

OR

Any other equivalent qualification approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

1. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certificate conducted by CBSE for class VI to VIII. 

DSSSB Special Educator Nationality

The applicant must be a citizen of India. However, preference in recruitment would be given to the residents of Delhi.
