The selection process for SBI SO 2025 Recruitment depends on the post/specialization for which the candidates is applying. The selection process is explained below:
For the Assistant Manager (Engineer- Fire) and Deputy Manager positions, candidates must meet minimum qualifications and experience to be considered for shortlisting. However, meeting these criteria does not guarantee being called for an interview. The shortlisting committee will set the parameters for shortlisting, and the final decision lies with the Bank. Based on shortlisting candidates will be called for the interview which carries 100 marks.
For all other Assistant Manager posts, an online written test will be held The exam will cover sections like reasoning, quantitative aptitude, English, and professional knowledge. Candidates must score above the cut-off in the professional knowledge section to qualify for the interview stage, with final selection based on a 70% written test and 30% interview weightage.
For shortlisted candidates, the interview will carry 100 marks, with the qualifying marks determined by the Bank. The interview process may be conducted in multiple tiers or layers, depending on the position. The merit list for final selection will be based solely on the interview scores, with age serving as the tie-breaker for candidates with equal scores.
