AWES PRT Selection Process 2025

The candidates who want to get recruited for the post need to undergo 3 stages of selection- Screening Test, Interview, Evolution of Teaching skills, and Computer Proficiency. Below are the details of every stage.

Online Screening Test

The Screening Test is the initial stage of the AWES PRT selection process and is conducted online by agencies designated by HQ AWES. It is designed to evaluate candidates across multiple areas, including Basic General Knowledge (GK) and Current Affairs, which covers National, International (in India’s context), and Global-level events. The test also includes sections on Pedagogy, Curriculum, and Education Policy Matters. Additionally, Academic Proficiency is evaluated to gauge the candidate’s subject-specific knowledge. AWES PRT Eligibility 2025

The candidates who do not satisfy the AWES PRT eligibility criteria will be rejected by the authorities. • Candidates must be below 40 years of age if they are freshers, and below 55 years of age if they are experienced, to participate in the recruitment process. Experienced candidates are expected to have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.

• Candidates must hold a B.El.Ed /Two-year D.El.Ed (From a NCTE recognized institution) with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and aggregate.

Teachers who were already in service with Army Public Schools/APPS prior to 11 Aug 2023 with B Ed degree can also apply / continue, subject to completion of Bridge Course as and when launched by NCTE. 

• Candidates should have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)/Teachers Eligibility Test (TET)/ State TET.
• Candidates should have proficiency in teaching in English medium and desirable knowledge of computer applications.
