IBPS PO Application Process 2025
As per the IBPS PO notification 2025 candidates can submit their applications online. Candidates must apply for the recruitment within the deadline specified by the authorities. Aspirants can fill out the IBPS PO Application Form by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Go to the official website to apply for the IBPS. Under 'Recent Updates' click the link for IBPS PO Recruitment. Click on 'New Registration'. Enter the required details and register yourself.
Step 2: Login with the credentials provided during registration. Carefully fill out the IBPS PO Application Form. Verify the entered details and proceed.

IBPS PO Recruitment 2025
All the candidates who wants to apply for the IBPS PO recruitment 2025 then they have to undergo 3 stages of the selection process as part of the IBPS Probationary Officer Recruitment. The details of the same are discussed here.
Preliminary Examination
In the online preliminary examination, the IBPS authority selects candidates for the Mains examination. The exam will be an objective-type test for 100 marks.
Mains Examination
Candidates who qualify the Prelims will be eligible for the Mains. The exam will include objective as well as descriptive-type questions for 225 marks. Those who qualify this stage will be shortlisted for the interview.
Interview
The Nodal Bank of the respective State/ UT screens the candidates in the interview round. It carries a weightage of 100 marks.
Provisional Allotment
IBPS declares the provisional allotment for the candidates who qualify after the Mains exam and Interview round. The provisional allotment is made on the basis of candidate's performance, rank in the mains exam, reservation criteria and the preference of banks opted by the candidate at the time of application. Candidates can check their provisional allotment status on the official website of IBPS by login in through their registration details. The allotment is provisional and subject to verification of original documents and meeting eligibility criteria of the allotted bank. This is the final stage of the selection process for the post of IBPS PO.

IBPS PO 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the examination, candidates must be aware of the IBPS PO eligibility criteria specified by the authorities in terms of their age, qualifications, experience, etc. IBPS PO age limit is 20 to 30 years, so candidates can apply if they fit within this age limit. Plus, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or any graduation degree recognized by the state or central government of India.
Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants
To apply for the IBPS CRP/Bank PO exam, candidates must meet specific nationality or citizenship criteria. Applicants should either be Indian citizens or fall under certain eligible categories. These include individuals who are subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle here permanently. Also, Indian Natives who have migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or certain East African nations such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, or Zaire, with the aim of permanent settlement in India, are also eligible. However, candidates falling under these special categories must possess a valid certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India to support their application.
IBPS PO 2025 Syllabus

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 2025
The Mains exam consists of four objective sections and one descriptive section. It is also conducted online and carries a total of 225 marks with a duration of 210 minutes. There is negative marking in both stages, where 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer in objective sections. Candidates must clear both Prelims and Mains to be shortlisted for the final interview round.
