When applying for the SBI PO 2025 exam, candidates must accurately mention their graduation percentage as per the prescribed format. The percentage of marks obtained in graduation must be calculated and entered in the online application form with utmost care. Below are the key points to understand while calculating the SBI PO eligibility percentage:
Graduation Result Deadline: Candidates must ensure that their final graduation results (mark sheet or provisional certificate) are issued by the date specified by SBI. If the result is published online on the university’s official website, the date of publication will be considered the date of passing.
Decimal Precision: The percentage should be calculated to two decimal places. Candidates must not round off percentages carelessly and should enter the exact value derived from their total score.
CGPA/OGPA Conversion: If the university awards marks in CGPA/OGPA format, candidates should convert it into a percentage as per the university’s official conversion norms. At the time of the interview, candidates will need to submit a valid certificate from the university or institute that clearly explains the formula used for converting grades into percentage.
Standard Calculation Method: The percentage should be calculated by summing up the total marks obtained in all subjects across all semesters/years and dividing it by the total maximum marks for all those subjects. This should include marks of any optional, additional, or honours subjects, if present.
