What Is UPSC Pratibha Setu?

UPSC Pratibha Setu launched on June 19-20, 2025. The UPSC Pratibha Setu is the rebranded successor to the earlier "Public Disclosure Scheme" (PDS). The Pratibha Setu is designed mainly for aspirants who cleared all stages of competitive UPSC CSE but narrowly missed final selection; the portal brings over 10,000 high-performing individuals into the radar of verified recruiters by enabling ministries, PSU's, autonomous bodies, and private-sector firms to access and link with these meritorious yet unplaced aspirants directly. Pratibha Setu portal removes traditional recruitment bottlenecks and maximizes talent deployment from a pool of highly qualified aspirants who narrowly missed the final selection by connecting them with potential employers across the central government and private sector. This all-new UPSC Pratibha Setu portal:

  • Targets over 10,000 aspirants who successfully cleared all written stages (prelims, Mains, CAPF, etc) but were not selected post-interview.
  • Exceptionally meritorious-"almost as meritorious as recommended candidates."
  • Open to specific exams - Civil Services (CSE), Indian Forest Service, CAPF, Engineering Services, Geo-Scientist, CDS, Medical Services, IES/ISS.
