-> Union Public Service Commission has introduced New UPSC Online Application Portal w.e.f. from 28th May, 2025 onwards.

-> UPSC Combined Geo Scientist Exam Date 2026 is out! The Prelims will be conducted on 8 February, 2026, while the Mains will be conducted on 20 June, 2026. The official UPSC Combined Geo Scientist Notification 2026 will be released on 3 September, 2025.

-> The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Prelims was held on 8th February 2025. The  Main Examination will be held on 21st & 22nd June 2025. The detailed Mains 2025 Exam Schedule has also been released!

-> The official notification for 2025 cycle was released for a total number of 85 Vacancies for the post of Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist, etc.

-> The UPSC Geo Scientist Selection Process is based on candidates' performance in the Prelims, Mains, and Interviews.

-> The preliminary examination is worth 400 marks, the main examination is worth 600 marks, and the interview is worth 200 marks. Candidates should download and practice questions from the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist previous year papers.
