UGC NET June 2025 Exam Shift Timings
The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be conducted in two shifts on multiple days. Candidates who are going to appear for the exam must have the right knowledge of the exam timings and shifts in which the exam will be conducted. The schedule for both shifts is given below:

Steps to Check NET Exam Date 2025

UGC NET June 2025 Examination City Intimation Slip
The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the UGC NET exam intimation slip which includes the date and city of the exam. The candidates who apply for the exam must check and download the intimation slip to know the city & location. Having knowledge of the same, before the release of the admit card will help to make arrangements related to travel and accommodation if the exam city is very far from the residence.
UGC NET June 2025 Admit Card Release Dates
The UGC NET Admit Card is will be released 7-10 days before the exam. Candidates are required to download and print the admit card, and carry a copy of the same to the exam centre. The details of the exam date, timing, and location of the exam centre are specified on the admit card.
How Can I Select the Date and Slot of UGC NET Exam?
Candidates cannot select the date and time slot for the UGC NET exam as the dates and slots are allotted randomly by the NTA. Although, the candidates are given the choice of selecting exam centers while filling out the application forms. The candidate can choose up to four centers as per their convenience. The steps to choose the exam center in the UGC NET application form has been given below:
- Choose the desired state
- Select the district in which you want to sit for the exam.
- Repeat the process four times
Note: Selection of the exam center must be made according to your preference. The most preferable center should be chosen first and then others.

UGC NET Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates who are going to appear in the UGC NET exam must know a few guidelines before they go to the exam centre. Candidates must take a few things in order to avoid any problem, as you have worked hard for the day. A small mistake can ruin the hard work you have put in the past year or months. To avoid that, keep the UGC NET exam day guidelines in mind that are given below:
- All the candidates must reach their examination centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the exam.
- It is mandatory for the candidates to carry their admit card, valid identity proof, and a recent passport-size photograph.
- Candidates are prohibited to carry electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, calculators, and smart watches to the examination centre.
- Candidates are required to follow the instructions given by the invigilator.
- Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall until the completion of the exam.
- Candidates must not carrsssy any study material, documents, or books inside the examination hall.
- Candidates must not engage in any sort of malpractice or unfair means.
