SSC CPO 2025 Notification, Exam Date, Vacancy, Eligibility and Selection Process

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the SSC CPO 2025 Notification in its latest exam calendar. As per the schedule, the SSC CPO 2025 application form will be available from 16th June 2025 to 7th July 2025. Candidates interested in the Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces can apply online within these dates. The SSC CPO 2025 Paper 1 exam will be conducted from 1st September to 6th September 2025, as per the official notice. SSC CPO 2025 Application Form

The SSC CPO application form must be submitted online only through the official website of SSC. The steps to apply for the recruitment are explained below for your reference.

Step 1: Register on the SSC Website

Viist the website of Staff Selection Commission. Click on the 'Apply' tab. Click the link to apply for SSC CPO Recruitment. Click on 'New Registration.'. Enter the required details and register yourself.

Step 2: Fill Out the SSC CPO Application Form

Login using the credentials provided during registration. Fill out the SSC CPO application form carefully and correctly.

Step 3: Upload the Required Documents

Upload  your recent photograph and signature according to the prescribed format.

Step 4: Complete the application fee payment.

SSC CPO Application Fee 2025

The application fee will depend on the category of the applicant. The candidate will have to have to pay the fee through online means. The candidates must note that the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstance.

SSC CPO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for this recruitment must ensure that they fulfil the required SSC CPO Eligibility conditions. These include parameters like age limit, qualification, etc. An overview of the same is given below.

• The candidates must be a Graduate to attend the recruitment 
• The age of the candidates must be between 20 - 25 years
• Height of the Male applicants must be at least 170 cms, while that of females must be at least 157 cms.

SSC CPO 2025 Selection Process

The SSC CPO Selection Process is curated to shortlist the most eligible candidates for the 

Paper I

The Paper I comprises objective-type questions for 200 marks. Candidates need to qualify this stage to be eligible for further selection.

Physical Test

The Physical Test comprises the Physical Endurance Test (PET) and the Physical Standards Test (PST). This is a qualifying stage. During the PST, physical parameters such as height, weight, etc., of the candidates will be measured.As part of the PET, candidates will be assessed for physical efficiency based on activities like race, long jump, high jump, etc. Details of the same are given below.

Paper-II

Candidates who qualify the PET and PST will be eligible for Paper II. It is an objective-type exam for 200 marks. It assesses the candidate's knowledge of  English language & Comprehension.

Detailed Medical Test

This is the last stage of the selection process. Before final appointment, candidates have to undergo a detailed medical examination to ensure their physical and mental fitness for this post.
