MPPSC State Services (Prelims) Exam 2023 (GS) Official Paper-I (Held On: 17 Dec, 2023)

Stage 1: MPPSC Prelims Exam

The preliminary exam, the initial phase of the hiring process, is required of candidates who have applied for the MPPSC State Service Exam. The MPPSC Prelims Examination is an objective-type test with a total of 200 multiple-choice questions for a maximum of two points each. The preliminary exam carries 400 total points and has a four-hour time limit.

Only those applicants who achieve the MPPSC cutoff marks for the preliminary exam will be chosen to move on to the MPPSC Mains Exam, which is the next phase of the selection process.

Stage 2: MPPSC Mains Exam

The candidates who passed the MPPSC preliminary exam are eligible to take the Mains exam, which is the second stage of the selection process. There are 1400 total marks for the MPPSC Mains Exam. The interview phase, the last and most important step in the MPPSC selection process, is where candidates who pass this exam proceed.

Stage 3: MPPSC Interview 

During this round of interviews, interviewers interact with each chosen applicant and ask questions related to a variety of topics, including their school background, prior work experience, etc. The major goal of this round is to assess the applicants' analytical, soft, and situational abilities as well as their mental strength and situational intelligence. There are 175 total marks for the interview round.

MPPSC Physical Ability Test (If Applicable)

The candidates' physical characteristics and level of fitness will be taken into consideration for a few MPPSC openings/posts. Candidates for these jobs must be in good physical and mental health in order to fulfil their duties and responsibilities as officers.
