Step 2 : Registration Process
In this step candidates click on the registration link provided on the exam details page to initiate the registration process for the MP Civil Judge Exam 2025 . They are required to fill in personal information like their name, contact details and other relevant data as requested in the registration form .

Step 3: Application Form Filling
After successful registration candidates log in to their account and proceed to fill out the MP Judiciary application form . This form includes various sections where candidates input their educational qualifications, address details, category information, etc.

Step 4 : Uploading Documents

MPCJ Application Fee

The MP Judiciary application fee is a mandatory payment required from candidates applying for judicial positions in Madhya Pradesh. The fee amount varies based on the candidate's category and is an essential part of the application process.

  • The application fee for the Reserved category is Rs. 577.02
  • The fee for unreserved candidates will be Rs. 977.02.

MP Judiciary Recruitment Selection Process 2025

The candidates applying for the post of MP Civil Judge will have to go through a selection process which will include

  • Preliminary Exam - The MP Judiciary Preliminary Exam is the initial stage of the selection process primarily aimed at screening candidates based on their basic knowledge and understanding of various subjects . It typically consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering areas such as general knowledge, English language, legal reasoning and aptitude, along with questions specific to the Indian legal system . Candidates are required to demonstrate their proficiency in these subjects within a limited time frame. The Preliminary Exam acts as a qualifying test, and candidates must achieve the prescribed cutoff marks to advance to the next stage of the recruitment process, which is the Main Exam.
  • Main Exam - The Main Exam in the MP Judiciary recruitment process is a more in-depth assessment of candidates' legal knowledge, analytical skills, and understanding of substantive and procedural laws. Unlike the Preliminary Exam, which is objective-based, the Main Exam comprises descriptive-type questions that require candidates to provide detailed answers and legal reasoning. The Main Exam typically covers subjects such as civil law, criminal law, procedural laws, local laws specific to Madhya Pradesh, and legal writing skills. MP Judiciary Recruitment Eligibility 2025

The MP Board has set certain eligibility criteria which are important for the candidates to know before they appear for the examination. It is important to meet the MP Judiciary eligibility criteria set for the candidates in order to be eligible for the post of MP Civil Judge. The MP Judiciary Prelims Exam Pattern consists of 150 objective-type questions carrying one mark each.
