The Haryana Judicial Services Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025 states that all the aspiring candidates must possess a degree of Bachelor of Laws from a university established by the law and recognized by the Bar Council of India. The degree entitles a candidate to be enrolled as an advocate under the Advocate Act, 1961, and the rules made thereunder. Note: The candidate must hold a degree of Bachelor of Law on the last date of receipt of the application form.

As stated in the Haryana Judiciary Eligibility Criteria PDF, candidates must be a citizen of India/Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 in order to be eligible for the post of Haryana Judiciary. In addition to this, a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia will also be eligible for the post.
