West Bengal Judicial Service Selection Process 2024 (Expected)

The West Bengal Judicial Service Exam is expected to consist of three stages in the selection process. The selection process will be, namely; Prelims exam, Mains Exam, and the Personality test. The candidates who clear all three stages will be considered for the post of Civil Judge (Jr. Division). We can take a look at the details below.

Preliminary Examination

The preliminary examination will consist of 200 multiple-choice objective-type questions. Each question will weigh one mark and the exam will be conducted for a total of 180 minutes. The candidates who clear the prelims examination will be selected for the next stage of the selection process

Mains Examination

The Mains exam will be a conventional type of written examination. The examination will have eight compulsory papers and three optional papers. The compulsory and optional papers will carry a total of 100 marks Those candidates who clear this stage will be called up for the final stage of the selection process

Personality Test

The candidates who clear the Mains examination and are shortlisted will have to attend the personality test/interview. This stage will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. The Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in the Final Examination and the Personality Test.
