UCEED Exam Result 2025 Out: Download Link @uceed.iitb.ac.in

The India Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay has declared the UCEED 2025 Result on the official website @uceed.iitb.ac.in on 7th March, 2025. The UCEED Scorecard will be made available to download from 10th March, 2025 onwards. The Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) is conducted by IIT Bombay every year to provide Bachelor of Design (BDes) admissions to the institutes partaking in UCEED. UCEED Exam Result 2025 has been declared on 7th March.

UCEED Exam Result 2025 - Date & Time

The UCEED Result 2025  has been released on 7th March 2025. The candidates who appeared for the UCEED Exam 2025 can check their UCEED Results online from the Official Website i.e., uceed.iitb.ac.in. The score cards can be downloaded from 10th March to 11th June, 2025 The candidates can download the UCEED Result PDF directly and print the result from the official website. IIT Bombay shall not post/send the score cards to the candidates, individually.

How to Check UCEED Result 2025?

UCEED Results are available only on the official UCEED 2025 website. Candidates will need to use their user login and password (created during the UCEED exam registration process) for viewing the results on the webpage. Below is a simple step-by-step guide, candidates can follow it in order to download the UCEED Result 2025. 

Step 1: Visit the Official website.

Step 2: Now click on the candidate portal.

Step 3: Now the login window will appear on the screen, enter your registered Email and Password here.

Step 4: Now click on the login tab.

Step 5: The UCEED Result will finally display on the screen. Download and print the result for future reference.

Note:

1. Portal will display Part A marks for all candidates who appeared for UCEED Exam 2025.
2. Part B marks, ranks, and total marks acquired won't be shown for the applicants who have not qualified for UCEED 2025.

The top UCEED Participating Colleges are Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay), Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad), Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) and Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur (IIITDM Jabalpur).

The total number of seats available in these institutes is 179, below is the institute-wise UCEED Seat Matrix 2025.

Note:

• Candidates may refer to the final seat matrix for the academic year 2025-26 from the official UCEED 2025 website (www.uceed.iitb.ac.in) at the time of application for BDes admissions.
• During the counselling process, e-mail or phone queries regarding the status of vacant seats at various institutes will NOT be entertained. All the information regarding seat allotment shall be published on the official UCEED website, as per the schedule.

UCEED Result 2025 - Percentile Calculation

• The total score can be calculated by adding the marks scored by the student in Part-A and Part-B. 

Therefore, 

Total UCEED 2025 score= Part-A marks + Part-B marks

• The Part-A qualifying cutoffs are released in the form of mean and standard deviation: 

Mean deviation= 69.52

Standard deviation= 31.02

• Percentile Calculation for open category Part-A,

x+(y/2)= z (cutoff), where x and y are the average marks and standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by all candidates in UCEED 2025 Part-A. 

• Percentile Calculation for different reserved categories,

0.9z for OBC-NCL

0.9z for EWS

0.5z for SC/ST

0.5z for PwD

In the formula used, z is the cutoff mark for open category students. 

Tie-Breaking Rule for UCEED Result

If two or more students obtain the same marks in the UCEED exam, a tie-breaker strategy is utilized for granting UCEED positions to the up-and-comers as referenced underneath:

• A higher rank is granted to the applicant who gets more scores in Section B (MSQ) in the test
• If the tie doesn’t resolve, the higher rank is given to the applicant who gets more scores in Section A (NAT)
• If the tie still exists, applicants are given the same rank

Note: The up-and-comers should take note that getting a position in the UCEED test doesn't ensure confirmation in the BDes course. Applicants making it to the UCEED merit list need to from that point partake in the joint seat allotment process/counselling.
