Age Limit Criteria

As per the eligibility criteria for SET, there is no SET Eligibility Age specified. Candidates must be at least 17 years old to apply and should qualify for all the other pointers provided in the eligibility criteria. 

Number of Attempts

Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Examination

The Eligibility Criteria for the Symbiosis Entrance Test specifies the minimum marks that should be scored by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The minimum qualifying marks are the same for all the courses. The specified aggregate scores are

• A minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade for the Unreserved Category candidates.
• A minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade for the SC/ ST candidates.

Major Changes in the SET Eligibility Criteria 2023

There are no major changes to be noted in the SET Eligibility Criteria. Most of the pointers provided in the eligibility criteria are almost the same as the previous year’s.

Eligibility for Admission to Participating in Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies Pune

The Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune is one of the premier institutions that come under Symbiosis University. There is a provision for 240 Indian Students and 60 International Students for the BBA course in the centre. The candidates will be selected for admission as per the rank list curated by the officials in the centre.

• The educational qualifications, age limit criteria, number of attempts, minimum qualifying marks, eligibility for NRI students, reservation, etc. are the same as the Symbiosis Entrance Test Eligibility. 
• The Institute also lists that the candidates should have passed the SET and a personal interview and writing ability test conducted by the centre. 

SET 2023 Reservation

As per the rules of the Government of India, the University Grants Commission 2006 guidelines strictly confirm that reservations should be provided to the backward category candidates. Therefore, as per these guidelines, Symbiosis International University also lists reservation provisions in their Eligibility Criteria for the Symbiosis Entrance Test. The candidates applying for these reservations will have to submit documents probing the claim made by them. The documents will be verified by the officials.
