OSSTET Selection Process 2024

The OSSTET is a qualifying examination mandatory for candidates who teach in Government/ Government Aided/ Non-Aided Recognized Secondary Schools of Odisha. After qualifying the Odisha Secondary School TET candidates can apply for vacancies as and when notified by these schools. The selection process for appointment to these posts will be as decided by the authorities. The selection process may include a written test and/ or teaching demonstration/ interview/ evaluation of experience, etc.

• The candidates need to score minimum passing marks i.e  45% (35% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC) in each paper in order to qualify for the exam.
• The successful candidates shall be awarded OSSTET Pass Certificate by the B.S.E., Odisha.
• This OSSTET Pass Certificate shall remain valid till the candidate reaches the upper age limit prescribed for recruitment of teachers as per rules or executive instructions prescribed by the Govt. from time to time.
