OPSC OCS 2025: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will conduct the Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam 2024. According to the latest notification released by the commission, the exam is now proposed to be conducted in September or October. Earlier, the exam was supposed to be held in July.

The latest Odisha Civil Services Notification was released on 31st December 200 vacancies for various Group A and Group B posts through the OPSC Civil Services Exam (Advt. No. 07 of 2024-25).  The exam is conducted by the OPSC to recruit candidates for various Group A and Group B posts under the Government of Odisha. Key points to note about the Odisha Civil Services Exam are: 

• The applications for OPSC OCS were submitted online between 10th January 2025 to 10th February 2025.
• The selection process includes a preliminary written exam, mains written exam, and an interview.

OPSC Civil Services Selection Process 2025

 The OPCS Civil Services selection process includes prelims, mains, and interview stages. The merit list is prepared based on marks scored in the Mains (Part II) and Interview.The details of the same have been discussed below.

OPSC OCS Prelims Exam 2025

It will be an objective-type examination comprising two papers of 200 marks each. To be eligible for further selection, candidates need to clear this stage of the selection process.This stage is only qualifying in nature.

OPSC OCS Mains Exam 2025

It will be a descriptive-type written exam. The Mains exam comprises 9 papers with essay-type questions. Part I of the exam has two papers and is qualifying in nature. Part II comprises 7 papers.

OPSC OCS Interview 2025

Based on their performance in the Mains Exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview. This stage carries 250 marks. 

Odisha Civil Services Eligibility 2025
