National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and determines the minimum marks required in NEET for MBBS in Government Colleges. AIIMS is one of the NEET best colleges and is aimed at by lots of candidates. NEET exam score is also accepted for admission at 19 AIIMS and two JIPMER campuses as both the AIIMS and JIPMER exams have been scrapped by the NMC Act.
- According to the most recent statistics, there are 612 Medical, 317 Dental, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc & AH colleges in India that will accept NEET 2025 scores.

What Before & After the NEET 2025 Entrance examination?
The National Eligibility and Common Entrance Test (NEET) has played an important role in developing medical education in India. NEET-UG is the only exam used to gain admission to medical and dental schools throughout the country. Candidates who meet the NEET cutoff will be considered for admission. In government colleges, 15% of seats are allocated through the All India Quota (AIQ), while the remaining 85% are allocated through the state quota. Private college admission is made by the respective state authorities after NEET-UG 2025, just like admission to state quota seats. However, only candidates who meet the state's NEET domicile criteria are eligible for state quota seats.
After the NEET exam, candidates must calculate their final scores using either unofficial or official answer keys. The NEET 2025 results will be available a month after the exam. Candidates can then use their actual rank and test results to predict which colleges they will be offered with some accuracy. The NEET 2025 admissions process will begin a week after the results are announced. Only candidates who meet the minimum qualifying percentile for the NEET cutoff 2025 will be admitted. To be considered for NEET counseling, general category candidates must score 50%, while SC/ST/OBC candidates must score 40%.

The most important thing that candidates go through after NEET is the counseling process. A qualified candidate who completes the correct counseling application form after the NEET 2025 result will be automatically notified of all other procedural requirements by their counseling authorities.
