National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) has been conducted by COA since 2006, in terms of the provisions of CoA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations. The Council of Architecture (CoA) is an autonomous statutory body of the Ministry of Education, which the Government of India constituted. NATA measures the aptitude of the applicant for the specific field of study, i.e. Architecture, through assessment of cognitive skills, visual perception and aesthetic sensitivity tests, logical reasoning and critical thinking ability, etc., besides the learning that the candidate has acquired over the past few years and is related to the specific field of study.

• NATA Counselling 2022 will be done for shortlisted candidates based on their score in the entrance exam to offer admission in the B.Arch program of architectural institutes. 
• Council of Architecture, conducting body for NATA will not hold any common counselling process. Candidates who want to get admission in B.Arch courses have to apply separately based on NATA scores.

NATA Counselling 2022 - Complete Process

Students seeking admission through NATA must note that CoA will not conduct the NATA Counselling 2022 for admission in B.Arch courses. Following are the steps that need to be followed for NATA Counselling. 

Step 1: There will be no centralised counselling of NATA 2022. Admissions will be done through NATA 2022 counselling which is conducted by the institute individually.

Step 2: Students have to check the official website of the institute in which admission is desired for details regarding the dates of NATA Counselling 2022 and the procedure for admission.

Step 3: Candidates have to apply for counselling by filling out the online application form from the institute and reporting to the institute as per the schedule.

Step 4: Students must fulfill all the eligibility criteria of the institute in which admission is desired, failing which they will not be allowed to participate in NATA 2022 counselling.

What options will be available after NATA Seat Allotment?

The candidate can either accept the admission to B.Arch course or reject it. There is no fine for rejecting an admission. If the seat is allocated for you, you can confirm your admission to B.Arch by providing the necessary documents to the specific college. Documents Required for Verification after NATA Seat Allotment 2022

Candidates who wish to participate in the NATA Counselling 2022 process will be required to carry all documents of educational qualification and other required documents while reporting to the counselling venue. As there is no centralised counselling of NATA 2022, documents required may vary as per the institutes and state in which the institute is located. Candidates are provided below a list of essential documents which they have to carry while participating in counselling.

• NATA Admit Card 2022.
• NATA Score Card.
• Class 10th and 12th Mark sheets and pass certificates.
• Transfer certificate (if applicable).
• Residence certificate (if applicable).
• Category Certificate (if applicable).
• Photo ID proof and photograph.
• Medical Certificate for PwD Certificate.
• Residence certificate
• Domicile for the state University exam
• 3- 4 passport-size photographs in light background without goggles or as per the guidelines of the State University or College
• Category reservation certificate for the students who are applying under the Reserved category guidelines
• Certificate for ex-servicemen quota is different and must be supplied in the format asked by the University/College
• Transfer certificate from the last institute/ school you studied in.
