KCET Application Form 2025, Last Date (Feb 18), Registration Fee

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) Applications for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students on their official portal for the year 2025. Candidates will be allotted their desired course only if they pass the KCET entrance exam for the same. Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria to avail their choice of courses.

Candidates must be aware that these sets of entrance exams are conducted once a year for UG courses. This examination allows only a maximum of two attempts per candidate. The minimum age criterion that every student appearing for these sets of entrance exams is 17 years. There is no upper limit set by the government for the same.​

• Examination would be conducted in offline mode.

KCET Application Form 2025 Out

The KCET Application Form 2025 has been released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on the official website https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. The Registration was commended on January 23, 2025 for all the candidates who are preparing for the examination. It is important to apply before the deadline in order to avoid the registration failure.

KCET 2025 Registration Process

Step 1: Go to the official website of KCET.

Step 2: Click on admissions or select ‘New User? Click here to register’

Step 3: On the drop down menu click UGCET 2025.

Step 4: Click on UGCET 2025 Online application registration link.

Step 5: Select ‘Nationality’

Step 6: 13 digit ‘Student Number’ issued by the department has to be entered by the candidates.

Step 7: Fill personal details and upload photos, signature and thumb impression.

Step 8: After successful registration, candidates will receive an Application number and User-ID to their registered mobile phone number and email-id.
Step 9: Candidates should log in to their account by using their Application number and password. Fill other required details and click on ‘Submit’.

How to Apply for KCET UG Level?

Step 1: Go to the official website of KCET 2025.

Step 2: Click on 'Edit CET Karnataka Application.'

Step 3: Enter User ID, and an OTP password will be generated and sent to the Candidate's registered mobile number. 

Step 4: Enter the OTP password sent.

Step 5: Edit the required details before clicking on 'Submit.' 

Step 6: Candidates need to download and print the confirmation page.

KCET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for the KCET exam must verify their eligibility with the guidelines below.

Eligibility criteria for Educational Qualifications for UG courses-

Undergraduate students need to keep the following in mind before applying for the KCET to meet the requirements and get admission to their desired college and course of choice-

• Candidates applying to KCET 2025 must be Indian citizens.
• Candidates must pass their 12th/ PUC examination. Candidates whose 12th/PUC examination result is awaited for 2025 can also apply to the KCET. 
• Candidates who passed their qualifying examination/12th/PUC from Karnataka State Open University are not eligible for KCET 2025.
• Candidates must take Physics and Mathematics as required subjects in their 12th-grade year, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics, or Computer Science, and English as a second language.

KCET Application Form Correction

KCET Application Form Correction 2025 - KEA reopened the KCET 2025 registration portal. Interested Candidates could submit the KCET application form 2025. Earlier, Karnataka Examination Authority had concluded the KCET 2025 application form correction process at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates were able to edit the KCET 2025 forms. The correction window of KCET 2025 application form was available only for registered students.
