How to Apply Online for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025?

The IOCL Apprentice 2025 application form is now available on the official IOCL website! Interested and eligible candidates can apply from 16 March to 22 March, 2025. IOCL Apprentice Selection Process 2025

The candidates will be selected on Merit Basis of the qualification required for their respective posts Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the Document Verification process. 

Stage 1 – Application & Registration on NAPS/NATS Portal

Candidates must first register on the respective apprenticeship portals—National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) for Trade Apprentices and National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) for Technician Apprentices. After registration, applicants should apply against the IOCL notification through the official IOCL Pipelines portal. Only candidates registered on NAPS/NATS and who apply through the IOCL portal will be considered for selection. 

Stage 2 – Preparation of Merit List

IOCL will prepare a merit list of all applicants meeting the eligibility criteria, based on the percentage of marks secured in the prescribed qualification for the post. In cases where two candidates have the same percentage, the candidate with the earlier date of birth (older in age) will be given preference. If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in matriculation will be considered. 

Stage 3 – Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates will be notified via their registered email addresses and will need to attend document verification at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Candidates must produce original documents to verify their eligibility, including educational certificates, age proof, caste certificates (if applicable), and other relevant documents. 

Stage 4 – Pre-Engagement Medical Examination

Candidates are advised to ensure they are medically fit as per Indian Oil’s pre-engagement medical standards. Graduate Apprentices need a full-time Graduate degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.

IOCL Apprentice Stipend 2025

The stipend structure for Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) apprentices is governed by the Apprentices Act of 1961/1973 and the Apprentices Rules of 1992/2019, as amended over time. For Graduate and Technician Apprentices, the IOCL Apprentice Stipend is disbursed in two parts:

• Graduate Apprentices: A total stipend of ₹9,000 per month, with ₹4,500 paid directly by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) into the apprentice's Aadhaar-seeded bank account enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), and the remaining ₹4,500 provided by IOCL.

• Technician Apprentices: A total stipend of ₹8,000 per month, with ₹4,000 paid by BOAT into the apprentice's Aadhaar-seeded bank account enabled for DBT, and the remaining ₹4,000 provided by IOCL.

It's essential for candidates to have an Aadhaar-linked bank account to receive the government's share of the stipend from BOAT. Trade Apprentices receive their full stipend directly from IOCL, with amounts varying based on the specific trade and educational qualifications, typically ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹9,000 per month.
