The candidates preparing for the HSSC examination will be asked to answer questions based on the subjects that are mentioned for the written examination. HSSC Taxation Inspector Exam Pattern 2023
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission released the exam pattern of Taxation Inspector. The selection process is very simple. As per the notice, there are mainly two stages in the selection process i.e. written test and socio-economic criteria & experience. The candidates are required to appear in both stages compulsorily. The candidates can check out the details of both the stages in the space below:
Written Exam
- An offline based written exam will be conducted using OMR Sheet.
- General awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, History including Haryana related history, current affairs, literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. - 20% weightage
- Computer terminology, Fundamentals, word software, excel software, Power point, internet, web browsing, Communication, emails, downloading and uploading data on websites etc. - 10% weightage
- Subject related questions - 70% weightage
- Each question will contain 5 alternatives and the candidate has to compulsorily mark one answer.
- The total duration of the examination is 105 minutes. Extra 5 minutes is given to answer the questions that are unknown to the candidates.
- The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi)
- Each correct answer carries 0.975 marks.
- 0.975 marks will be deducted for each unattempted question. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Document Verification Round (Qualifying)
The candidates who will be successful in clearing the HSSC Taxation Inspector Cut Off decided for the written exam will be called for the next round, i.e. document verification. In this round, a panel decided by the commission will check the documents submitted by the candidates. The final appointment letter will be given to only those candidates whose documents are authentic.
