The Defense Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released the DRDO JTO Eligibility Criteria for the year 2022. Before applying for the post, the candidate should carefully review the DRDO CEPTAM JTO eligibility criteria to know about the requirements of the job. The department is inviting online applications for 33 vacancies this year for DRDO JTO recruitment. The online application process for DRDO Junior Translation Officer (Admin and Allied Services) will begin on November 7, 2022. The deadline to apply for these posts is December 7, 2022.

According to the DRDO JTO Eligibility Criteria, the candidate must not exceed 30 years. Candidates from reserved categories, on the other hand, would be given upper-limit age relaxations.

DRDO JTO Eligibility Criteria 2022

To be considered for the position of DRDO CEPTAM JTO, candidates must meet specific requirements. The commission will disqualify candidates who do not meet the following comprehensive DRDO CEPTAM JTO Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit

The applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 30 to be eligible for the post. However, there will be a relaxation on the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories mentioned below:

Educational Qualification

To be qualified for the position of DRDO CEPTAM JTO, candidates must meet the DRDO CEPTAM JTO eligibility requirements for education. Applicants must have

Master’s degree in English/Hindi from a recognized university with Hindi/English as a compulsory/elective subject at the postgraduate level. OR
Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination with English as a compulsory subject at postgraduate level, OR
Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects or either of the two as the medium of examination and other as the main subject plus recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi and English.

DRDO JTO Result Announced on 25th April 2023! The exam was conducted on 20th March 2023. DRDO JTO Notification was out for a total of 33 vacancies. The selection process will have a Tier-1 exam that will be a computer-based test & the candidates qualifying for Tier 1 will have to appear for the Tier-2 examination which will be a Descriptive paper for Essay and Translation. The selected candidates for the post will receive a DRDO JTO Salary as Pay Level - 6 Rs 35400 as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
