National Law University (NLU) Delhi has released the new set of AILET exam pattern and syllabus for the 2022 examination. AILET Syllabus and exam pattern include subjects, marking schemes, and other essential features. The AILET exam pattern and syllabus are designed for candidates applying for various UG and PG programs. The exam is likely to conduct offline- pen paper mode. Candidates are provided with question booklets or OMR sheets. 

  • Candidates should pay attention to the syllabus and exam pattern for better preparation for their respective courses exam.
  • As per the new AILET exam pattern, there will be no math section, but the question will include both objective and subjective types. 
  • Candidates who wish to score more than the AILET Cut Off marks are advised to download the official syllabus (link below) to boost their preparations.

AILET 2022 Syllabus 

In the released syllabus, AILET deals with the BA LLB and LLM in its UG and PG program. 

Candidates are advised to read the syllabus before starting their preparation. The test is of 90-minutes duration where candidates have to answer 150 objective questions in AILET BA LLB and 100 objective and 2 subjective questions in AILET LLM. AILET UG Syllabus

The undergraduate program of the AILET includes BA LLB. The syllabus of AILET comprises three essential sections including subjects like the English Language, Current affairs, GK, and reasoning. In total it contains 150 questions, each carrying one mark.

AILET 2022 Exam Pattern 

Before appearing in any exam it is very important to know the exam pattern. AILET entrance test is one of the toughest law entrance exams, that’s why students should have a detailed and clear knowledge of the structure of the exams. The exam will be decided in offline mode.

It consists of both objective and subjective type questions in its PG course entrance and only objective questions in the UG entrance. The duration of the exam will be 90 min for all courses. For each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted and for the correct one each will be awarded one mark. Here is the table below with all the important information for both UG and PG courses.

AILET PG Exam pattern- LLM

The structure of questions in AILET PG for the LLM program is divided into two sections with a total of 150 marks. Whereas the first section comprises objective type questions of 100 marks and the second section is of subjective type questions of 50 marks, one is needed to answer only 2 questions. AILET 2022 Preparation Strategy

AILET is a national level selection test, conducted all around the country. There are restricted seats accessible in both BA LLB and LLM programs. Consequently, students need to get ready to get a decent position. The below points are given for the competitors as a key to contributing to the AILET exam.

  • Candidates should make routine and put together your day to day existence keeping AILET preparation above all.
  • Read up for around four to five hours every day to keep up consistency.
  • Should have limited books for preparation of AILET and make short notes, flow charts, and diagrams to catch up on things easily. 
  • Completion of AILET should be at least two months before the test.
  • Give mock tests regularly, and prepare from previous year's papers. Analyze each mistake and try to rectify it in another mock test.
