Given:

Total cars sold by all company's = 10000

Formula Used:

Average = \(\frac{\text{Sum of observation}}{\text{Total observations}}\)

Calculations:

⇒ Total percentage of cars sold by all company's = 7 + 8 + 13 + 16 + 12 + 14 + 10 + 20 = 100%

⇒ Total car sold by all company's = 10000

⇒ 100% = 10000

⇒ 1% = 100 cars

Now statement I,

⇒ Cars sold by company B = 8% = 8 × 1% = 8 × 100 = 800 cars

⇒ Cars sold by company F = 12% = 12 × 1% = 12 × 100 = 1200 cars

⇒ Cars sold by company H = 10% = 10 × 1% = 10 × 100 = 1000 cars

⇒ Total cars = 800 + 1200 + 1000 = 3000 cars

⇒ Average = \(\frac{3000}{3}\) = 1000 cars

So, Statement I is incorrect

Now, For statement II

⇒ Car sold by company A = 20% = 20 × 1% = 20 × 100 = 2000

⇒ Car sold by company E = 16% = 16 × 1% = 16 × 100 = 1600

Ratio of company A and company E is

⇒ Company A : company E = 2000 : 1600 = 5 : 4

So, This statement is also incorrect

⇒ Hence, Both statement is incorrect
