त्रिकोणाचे क्षेत्रफळ = 1/2 x पाया x उंची
चौरसाचे क्षेत्रफळ = बाजू2
गणना:
समजा, चौरसाची बाजू 'a' आहे
Δ ABC चे क्षेत्रफळ = Δ ADE चे क्षेत्रफळ + Δ EFC चे क्षेत्रफळ + चौरसाचे क्षेत्रफळ
⇒ 1/2 × 6 × 8 = 1/2 × a × (8 – a) + 1/2 × (6 – a) × a + a2
⇒ 24 = 7a – a2 + a2
