Given:

Tea at Rs. 10 per kg be mixed with tea at Rs. 15 per kg,

So the mixture must be worth Rs. 12 per kg.

Calculation:

Let x kg of Rs 10 per kg be mixed with y kg of tea at Rs.15 per kg .

As per the question,

10x + 15y = (x + y) 12

⇒ 10x + 15y = 12x + 12y

⇒ 2x = 3y

So, the ratio should be x : y = 3 : 2

∴ The required ration is 3:2
