Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
M or 2W or, 3B can finish a work = 121 days
Concept used:
(M1 × T1)/W1 = (M2 × T2)/W2
Where,
M → Men
T → Time
W → Work
Calculations:
M = 2W
⇒ W = M/2
M = 3B
⇒ B = M/3
M + W + B
⇒ M + (M/3) + (M/2)
⇒ 11M/6
(M1 × T1)/W1 = (M2 × T2)/W2
⇒ (1 × 121)/1 = ((11M/6) × T2)/1
⇒ T2 = 66 days
∴ Time taken by one man, one woman and one boys together to finish the work is 66 days
