The National Family Health Survey (NFHS-5) 2019-2021 has many key findings, including: 

• The sex ratio was 1,020 women for every 1,000 men.  
•  The under-five mortality rate dropped from 50 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2015-16 to 42 deaths per 1,000 in 2019-21.
