The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released the TNPSC Group 2 marks at tnpsc.gov.in. The result for the TNPSC Group 2 for the Mains has been released on 5th May 2025. As per the official notice, the Group IIA Services Paper II exam was held on 8th February 2025, and the Group II Services Paper II exam on 23rd February 2025. The provisionally shortlisted candidates will be called for Endurance Test.

How to Check/Download Result for TNPSC Group 2 Exam?

To check the TNPSC Group 2 result, candidates must visit the official TNPSC website. The result can be accessed using the registration number and date of birth.

Step 1: Visit the official website of TNPSC. - tnpsc.gov.in

Step 2: Click on the 'Results' tab that is present on the right hand of the screen.

Step 3: From the drop-down menu, click on the 'Results' link.

Step 4: A PDF will be flashed on your screen where you can find the list of candidates.

Step 5: Search for your roll number using CTRL+F.

Step 6: Download and take a printout for the future reference.

Details to be Checked in TNPSC Group 2 Result 2025

The TNPSC will release the result on its official site. Once you download the result, the candidates must check and verify the details of the result to make sure that it is correct. 

• Verify your Registration number, roll number, Name, Exam name, and other personal details
• Take a note of the TNPSC Group 2 marks that you secured in the various sections.
• Check your state rank and category rank.

The interview is of 40 marks. After completion of the interview, the commission will release the marks awarded for the interview. The total marks can be calculated as a summation of the marks obtained in the mains and the marks obtained in the interview. The final selection list is based on the total marks secured. 

How to Challenge the TNPSC Group 2 Result 2025?

The TNPSC Group 2 marks cannot be challenged. However, you can challenge the answer key that the TNPSC will release after the written exam. You can object to the TNPSC Group 2 answer key by going to the official website of TNPSC and filing an objection to the preliminary TNPSC Grade 2 Answer Key.

The cut-off marks to qualify for the mains exam is 90. The minimum marks for qualifying mains exams are decided by the TNPSC qualifying commission.
