Concept used:

Curved Surface Area of the cone (CSA) = \(\frac{22}{7}\) x r x l

Total Surface Area (TSA) - Curved Surface Area of the cone (CSA) = πr2

r = radius of the base

l = slant height of the cone

Base area = πr2 

Calculation:

TSA - CSA = Base Area

TSA - CSA = \(\frac{22}{7}\) x r x r 

TSA - CSA = \(\frac{22}{7}\) x 35 x 35
