Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFStatements:
All Cadbury are Nestle.
No Nestle is Amul.
Some Cadbury are Britannia.
Conclusions:
I. Some Nestle are Britannia → Follow → Since 'All Cadbury are Nestle' & 'Some Cadbury are Britannia.' means that Britannia is a subset of Nestle so the conclusion follows.
II. No Amul is a Cadbury → Follow → Since 'All Cadbury are Nestle' & 'No Nestle is Amul..' means that 'No Cadbury is Amul.' and vice versa so the conclusion follows.
III .No Amul is Britannia. → Does not follow → Since 'Some Cadbury are Britannia.' & 'No Nestle is Amul..' means that No Amul is Britannia.' only a possibility not necessary so the conclusion does not follows.
Hence, Only conclusions I and II follow.
