According to the question:

Given numbers 325 846 483 215 468
Arrangement in ascending order 215 325 468 483 846

So,

Second digit of the highest number → 846 → 4

second digit of the lowest number → 215 → 1

Thus, second digit of the highest number is added to the second digit of the lowest number → 4 + 1 = 5
