Failed percentage = \(\dfrac{\text{Number of failed students}}{\text{Total students}} \times 100\)

Calculation:

Number of failed students in Section C = 12 + 6 + 8 = 26

Failed percentage = \(\dfrac{26}{61} \times 100 \)

⇒ 42.62%

∴ The failed percentage of Section C in at least one of the two examinations is 42.62%.
