Loss = Cost Price-selling price

%Loss = \(\frac{\ loss}{\ cost \ Price}\) × 100

Calculation:

Now,

12 = \(\frac{\ cost \ price -46,068}{\ cost \ price}\) × 100

⇒ 0.12cost price = cost price - 46,068

⇒ 0.88cost price = 46,068

⇒ cost price = \(\frac{46,068}{0.88}\)

Cost Price = Rs.52350

The %profit:

⇒ 18 = \(\frac{selling \ price \;- \;52,350}{52,350}\) ×100
