Given:

In 50 days, only one-fourth of the work was completed by 200 workers.

Formula used:

W₁/ M₁D₁H₁ = W₂/ M₂D₂H₂

Solution:

(1/4)W / (200 × 50) = (3/4)W / (x × 100)

So

x = 300

So additional workers required = 300 - 200 = 100

Hence, option 2 is the correct answer.
