Efficiency = work done in a single day
Calculation:
Let total work is 60 units ( LCM of 6, 10 , and12 and)
The efficiency of A+B = 60 /10
⇒ 6 units
The efficiency of B+C = 60 / 12
⇒ 5 units
The efficiency of A+C = 60 / 6
⇒ 10 units
Total efficiency of A + B + C is (10 + 5 + 6) / 2 = 21/2
The efficiency of A is 21 / 2 - 5 = 11/2 units
The number of days A required is 60 × 2 / 11 = 120 /11 days
∴ The correct option is 3
