अलंकार-
- जो किसी वस्तु को अलंकृत करे वह अलंकार कहलाता है।
- दूसरे अर्थ में- काव्य अथवा भाषा को शोभा बनाने वाले मनोरंजक ढंग को अलंकार कहते है।
