यदि त्रिकोणमितीय अनुपात 'asin θ + bcos θ' के रूप में है।

तो अधिकतम मान = \(\rm \sqrt {a^2+b^2}\)

और न्यूनतम मान = - \(\rm \sqrt {a^2+b^2}\)

गणना:

15sin θ + 20cos θ

यहाँ a = 15 और b = 20

तो अधिकतम मान = \(\rm \sqrt {{15}^2+20^2}\)

\(\sqrt{225+400}\)

= √(625)
