The West Bengal Assistant Teacher Notification is out. The 2nd level selection test for recruitment of Assistant Teachers for Secondary and Higher Secondary is out. Application dates are between 16th June-14th July, 2025. The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) conducts the State Level Teachers’ Selection Test (AT) – 2025 for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers in various subjects and levels in recognized Santhali Medium non-Govt. aided/sponsored Junior High/Secondary/Higher Secondary Schools in West Bengal. Further vacancies for upper primary level classes are also expected.
In order to hire over 35,726 assistant teachers for secondary classes (9 & 10) and higher secondary classes (11 & 12) in government-aided and sponsored secondary and higher secondary schools throughout the state, the West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) plans to administer the second State Level Selection Test (SLST) in 2025. Online applications will be accepted for the position starting on June 16 and ending on July 17, 2025. The state government has implemented more transparency measures in reaction to past inconsistencies, such as providing carbon copies of OMR sheets, publishing answer keys, videotaping interviews, etc.

Stage 1: Written Examination: It will be an OMR based examination consisting of 60 marks.
