Concept:

Sinusoidal time varying signal is generally represented in the standard form as

i(t) = Im sin(ωt).

Where Im = maximum current or peak value of current.

i(t) = instantaneous current at any time.

ω = angular frequency.

t = time.

Calculations:

Given Im = 30 A.

Given ωt = 30°

Instantaneous current = 30 sin( 30° )

Instantaneous current at 30° = 30 × 0.5  = 15 Amps.
