Concept -
The reagent H2 Palladium in presence of calcium or barium sulphate salt is reffered as lindlard catalyst it is often poisened with pyridine or quinoline.
- The lindlard catalyst is used for hydrogenation of alkynes to alkene.
- It generates a cis alkene.
