Concept:

When a chain is longer than its nominal length, the measured length will be less than the actual length. The correction is applied as follows:

\( \text{Actual Length} = \text{Measured Length} \times \frac{\text{Actual Chain Length}}{\text{Nominal Chain Length}} \)

Nominal length of chain = 20 m
