Poem 'Prithviraj Raso':

This is one of the literary indigenous sources which portrays the history of India.
Prithviraj Raso, a biographical poem was composed in the 12th century.
It was written by the poet, Chand Bardai.
Prithviraj Raso gives a detailed account of Prithviraj Chauhan, the famous Rajput ruler.
It also describes how Prithviraj Chauhan abducted Raja Jaichandra's daughter of Kannauj.
