The recruitment procedure for the post of X-ray Technician in BTSC includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and evaluation of relevant experience. The CBT is meant to measure the knowledge and skills of candidates related to the post.
The CBT consists of one hundred multiple-choice questions in Hindi and English and is releasable for completion within two hours. The marking scheme per question is 1 mark for a correct answer and minus 0.25 for each incorrect answer.

The CBT is supplemented by relevant working experience within the government or recognized private hospitals, which gives up to 25 marks as part of the overall evaluation.
