AP LAWCET Counselling 2025 - Complete Process:

The AP LAWCET counselling will be conducted by APSCHE. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit list prepared by the conducting authorities. Candidates with their names on the merit list will be eligible for the counselling and seat allotment process. The aspirants must keep a check on the official website for updates. Below given is the step-by-step process for the AP LAWCET counselling:

Step 1- Registration: After the declaration of the result, the candidates are required to take a printout of their application form and bring it to the consort with other required documents. 

Step 2- Document Verification: The candidates are required to visit the counselling centre listed in their region along with all the required originals as well as xerox copies of the documents. The candidates not showing up to their respective allotted institutes will be discarded from further admission. The counselling fee is also to be paid at this stage. The counselling fee is INR 1000/- for the candidates belonging to the general category and INR 500/- for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category. 

Step 3- Web-Option Entry: The candidates will have to submit the preferred choices of courses and colleges; the candidates must make sure to fill in the preference in order, and candidates should select as many options as possible to ensure admission. After selection, locking the choices is very important, or otherwise, the authorities shall finalize the options selected initially. The candidates are advised to review all the submitted choices and take a printout of entered choices. 

Step 4- Modification of Web-Option and Freezing: If the candidate is not satisfied with the options filled by them, they can modify the options within the time given by the authorities. 

Step 5- Seat Allotment:  After the Counselling, the candidates are required to download a seat allowance letter from the university's official website. When the seats are allotted to the candidates, they need to check the allotted college and all other related information.

After seat allotment, the following steps have to follow- 

• Fee Payment- The candidates have to pay a seat acceptance fee for the allotted course and college. After payment of the seat allotment, a fee receipt will be issued to the candidates. Candidates who will not pay the fee before the last date will lose their seat allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. 
• Reporting at the College- After making a successful payment, candidates will have to report to the allotted colleges as per the schedule, along with all the required documents for the Document verification process.

The seat allotment process will be conducted along with the counselling process of AP LAWCET.
