Given:

Statement I: There are 30 students in the class.

This statement tells us the total number of students.

Therefore, Statement I alone is not sufficient to determine Sarita's rank.

Statement II: There are 10 students who scored less than Sarita.

This statement indicates that 10 students are strictly behind Sarita in terms of score.

This means if we were to count from the bottom (lowest score), Sarita would be at the 11th position (10 students below her + Sarita herself).

However, we do not know the total number of students in the class.

Therefore, Statement II alone is not sufficient to determine Sarita's rank.

Combining Statement I and Statement II:

From Statement I, we know the Total number of students = 30.

From Statement II, we know that 10 students scored less than Sarita.

Rank from Top = (Total number of students) - (Number of students below Sarita)

Sarita's Rank = 30 - 10 = 20th.

Thus, Both Statement I and Statement II together are needed to answer the question.

Hence, the correct answer is "Option 4".
