Answer (Detailed Solution Below)
Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
Old age home = 19%
Orphanage = 19%
Medical help = 19%
The remaining amount Rs.12900 of savings is deposited in bank.
Total saving amount = 80% of the salary
Calculation:-
Let,
Total saving amount = x
According to the given data,
⇒ 19x/100 + 19x/100 + 19x/100 + 12900 = x
⇒ 57x/100 + 12900 = x
⇒ x - 57x/100 = 12900
⇒ 43x/100 = 12900
⇒ 43x = 1290000
⇒ x = 1290000/43 = 30000
⇒ Total saving amount = 30000
⇒ 80% × Total salary = 30000
⇒ Total salary = (30000x100)/80 = 37500
∴ The total salary amount is 37500.
