GIVEN:

∠ACB = 80°, ∠BAC = 45° and ∠BED = 75°

CONCEPT:

Sum of all the angles of a triangle = 180°

CALCULATION:

In ΔABC:

∠BAC + ∠ACB + ∠CBA = 180°

⇒ ∠CBA = 180° – 80° – 45° = 55°

So,

∠DBE = ∠CBA = 55° (Opposite angles)

Now,

∠BDE + ∠DEB + ∠DBE = 180°

⇒ ∠BDE = 180° – 75° – 55° = 50°

∴ ∠BDE = 50°
